About Denise

I am a lifelong Butte resident with strong family ties to our community and the state of Montana. I love helping people in Butte, Anaconda and Whitehall. In addition to helping my clients buy and sell real estate I'm active with our local and state association. I currently am a State Director for the Gallatin Association of Realtors and serve on the Board of Directors. I am active with our Chamber of Commerce and currently serve on the Executive Board.

I love the great outdoors around Montana. When I'm not working I'm usually outside enjoying Montana's rivers, lakes, hiking trails, and world-class skiing. My husband and I of 35 years currently have two dogs, Maggie and Newton, and our cat, Skye. We love to travel almost anywhere and we thoroughly enjoy other cultures.

I have been an agent 17 years and bought the RE/MAX Franchise in 2013. Our office is consistently the top producer in the area even though our office only has 10 agents. This is a hardworking office with dedication to our clients. I feel it is crucial to have a strong presence on social media and our office has our own Marketing Director. Our office commits to helping you find exactly what you are looking for in Southwest Montana.

I am a graduate of the University of Montana with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. I have been married for 35 years to Mark Merrick, who is a graduate of Montana Tech with a degree in Occupational Safety and Health. Mark has a full-time job but he is also co-owner of RE/MAX Premier. Both of us grew up in Butte and volunteer for our local community to try to make where we live a better place.
